Buses are a low-cost option, mainly suited to residents or people familiar with the city, as the network is extensive.
Between Dubai International and the city
Buses arrive and leave from stands opposite Terminal 1, 2 and 3. For up-to-date routes and times, and to plan your journey, please visit the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Please note: you need to buy a Nol card in advance; you can’t pay cash to the driver.
Shuttle Bus between Terminals
There is a free 24-hour shuttle bus service between Terminals 1 & 3. Simply follow the signs or ask our May I Help You team.
You can also use the Metro between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
If you’re connecting flights, you will
be automatically transferred as part of your connection.
Dubai World Central (DWC)
During DXB’s runway project until May 30, a free express bus service will run between DXB and DWC every 30 minutes, stopping at all three terminals at DXB.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is running additional bus services until May 30, departing hourly from DWC.
Route 1: DWC – Ibn Battuta Metro Station – Mall of Emirates Metro
Bus Station – Business Bay Metro Station – Satwa Bus Station.
Route 2: DWC – Ibn Battuta Metro Station – Mall of Emirates Metro Bus Station – Business Bay Metro Station – Union Metro Station – Abu
Hail Metro Station.
Buses cost a flat fee of AED7.5 using a Nol card, which must be purchased before boarding the bus. More info
