09 July 2020As airline services resume at Dubai International (DXB) passengers are being advised to always confirm their terminal of departure and arrival with their airline prior to coming to the airport as some carriers may have temporarily changed terminals.

This is a busy place! In fact, Dubai International is the busiest international airport in the world. With hundreds of flights taking off and landing every day, it’s important you know which terminal you’re flying through.

Quick Guide

Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 1:All international airlines (except Emirates, Qantas and flydubai).

Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 2: flydubai and other regional and international airlines.

Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 3: flydubai and all Emirates and Qantas flights.

Dubai World Central (DWC): Wizz Air, flydubai and Aeroflot, as well as Ural Airlines, Azur Air, Condor and other seasonal charter operators.

Note: If you’re flying between April 16 and May 30 2019, your flight may have moved to our second airport, Dubai World Central (DWC) due to a runway refurbishment at Dubai International (DXB). During the 45-day refurbishment, the following airlines are due to operate from DWC: flydubai, Wizz Air, Aeroflot, Indigo, SpiceJet, Gulf Air, Ukraine International Airlines, Nepal Airlines, Kuwait Airways and flynas.

Getting between Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC)

During the 45-day runway refurbishment at DXB, a free airport express service will run between DWC and DXB every 30 minutes. The service is available in both directions, connecting DWC with all three terminals at DXB.
For the same period, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is providing additional bus routes and discounted taxi fares from DWC.

Getting between terminals at Dubai International (DXB)

There is a free 24-hour shuttle bus service between Terminals 1 & 3, and Terminals 2 & 3. Simply follow the signs or ask our May I Help You team.

You can also use the Metro between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

If you’re connecting flights, you will be automatically transferred as part of your connection.
