Dubai International, which is one of the busiest airports for international traffic worldwide, is connected to over 220 destinations across six continents through 150 scheduled airlines. Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International, Dubai’s airport of the future is at the heart of a major airport-city project just 40 kilometres away from Dubai International. The first phase of the project opened for cargo operations on June 27, 2010.
